movies and candy

Fri Jul 17, 2009, 7:03 AM
I saw the new Harry Potter Movie on Wednesday and I must say that over all I was pleased.
As with the others, there was a ton of stuff from the book that was left out of the movie, yet most of it was understandable... I only had one complaint:

POSSIBLE SPOILERS AHEAD!

They did not explain the reason for the "Half Blood Prince" title. In fact, the curiosity at the identity of the Half Blood Prince, which was very evident in the book, was just glanced at here. This lack of curiosity didn't really make sense especially considering the past experience with another strange book in The Chamber of Secrets among other things.

SPOILERS OVER

Other than that the movie was good... I will admit that I had to try really hard not to cry towards the end and many others in the theatre were in tears.

Oh! I also feel like I am on crack right now because of this candy I'm eating. It's called
Toxic Waste and it came in a little barrel that was so reminiscent of gimicky 80's candy, that I had to have it. Regardless of the packaging, I'm glad I got it because inside the barrel was the most powerfully sour candy that I have EVER had the pleasure of eating.
My tongue feels numb right now because of how sour it is. It's awesome!
